Kuala Lumpur, 3 Dec 2025 – Astrum Ampang, a flagship Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project by Setia Awan Group, marked a significant construction milestone with the topping out of all six of its residential towers.
Located just next to the Jelatek LRT station, the integrated mega-development is set to deliver its first phase – comprising Tower A developed in collaboration with PR1MA Corporation Malaysia (PR1MA), Soho-transit units Tower S, and retail lots – ahead of schedule in Q1 2026.
To commemorate the project’s progress, a topping-out ceremony was held on site today. In attendance was YBhg. Datuk Seri Haji Mohd Nazri bin Md. Shariff, Group Chief Executive Officer and Member of Corporation of PR1MA; YBrs. Ts. Brian Iskandar Zulkarim, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of PR1MA; alongside YBhg. Dato’ Marcus Doh, Director at Setia Awan Group; and Mr. Ng Teck Hua, Executive Director at Setia Awan Group.
“The topping out of Astrum Ampang marks an important step forward not only for our team, but also for the surrounding community. It reflects our Group’s long-term vision of creating connected, future-ready environments that support how people live, work, and commute,” says Doh.

Venturing into another TOD project, PR1MA recognises the growing demand among urban Malaysians for public transport proximity as a key consideration when purchasing property, reflecting a broader shift in Malaysia towards car-light living and greater everyday convenience.

Market demand for Astrum Ampang has remained robust. The PR1MA tower is sold out, while the other residential towers are now 95% taken up.
