Armed over 20 years of experience in property development and construction, Dato’ Marcus Doh Tee Leong has been instrumental in delivering numerous residential and commercial projects of various scales across Malaysia.
Leading the management of Setia Awan Group, Dato’ Marcus currently oversees developments across several key locations, including Klang Valley, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and his hometown of Perak. Under his helm, Setia Awan has been able to expand its landbank significantly in the last few years, primely positioning the company for growth, especially in its niche of affordable housing developments as well as transit-oriented developments.
With his involvement in diverse industries and expertise honed through his experiences, Dato’ Marcus is particularly adept at driving sustained growth and success across the companies under his purview.
He had previously served as the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Lagenda Properties Berhad and remains a major shareholder in the company. Beyond property, he is also actively involved in healthcare, property management, hospitality, and plantation industries.
Since 2016, he has served on the boards of multiple medical centres, contributing to their growth and strategic direction. In 2022, he also became a board member and major shareholder of Epicon Berhad, where he plays a key role in shaping the company’s direction.
Dato’ Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University (1998).
